Thanks for your interest in our rental condos at Calypso Resort and Towers. We have taken the time to put together this list of Frequently Asked Questions to help you decide where you would like to stay during your vacation. It is our goal to make sure that you have a memorable stay and are a returning guest of our condo. If you have specific questions that are not answered below, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Q: Who manages your condos? A: Blue Sun Properties LLC is the rental management company that manages the rentals of the condos shown on this site. Follow the links so you can find more information about Blue Sun Properties and their panama city beach condo rentals.
Q: Who do I pay the deposit to? A: All payments will be made by credit card to Blue Sun Properties LLC.
Q: How do we get the key? A: We issue door codes 2 weeks prior to your arrival after we have received your full payment. We use a keyless entry system for our condos.
Q: Do you offer any discounts for the dates of (arrival date) to (departure date)? A: We have priced our condo rental rates to be very competitive with other condos of like kind, quality, and location. As a rule, we are fairly firm on our prices, but we may be willing to negotiate during non peak season (after Aug 15). There are less expensive condos in PCB, but there aren't many that offer the amenities, location, and convenience that are offered at Calypso.
Q: Is the condo available for (dates)? A: We have a calendar that we keep updated on our site and if the dates are not shown in red, then it is available. We don't mind looking just to verify for you though.
Q: Are extra days available? A: We rent the condo from Saturday to Saturday as a matter of policy. We have a Minimum Reservation Requirements - All properties require a three (3) night minimum reservation. Longer reservations may be required during peak seasons and/or holidays. Weekly reservations may be required for some properties during peak seasons and/or holidays.
Q: How much deposit is required? A: We require a 25% deposit and a $250 refundable damage deposit at time of booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the total rent, taxes and fees due.
Q: What is the cancellation Policy? A: Reservations less than twenty-eight (28) days in length require a fourteen (14) day cancellation or change notice. Cancellations and changes that are made more than fourteen (14) days prior to the check-in date will result in the refund of the advance deposit less a $40 cancellation fee. Cancellations and changes that are made within fourteen (14) days of the check-in date will forfeit one (1) night rent, taxes and fees. Monthly reservations of twenty-eight (28) days or longer require a one hundred twenty (120) day cancellation or change notice. Cancellations and changes that are made more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the check-in date will result in the refund of the security deposit less a $40 cancellation fee. Cancellations and changes that are made within one hundred twenty (120) days of the check-in date forfeit the full security deposit. Upon check-in, guests are required to confirm departure dates. Should a guest decide to leave earlier, the guest may be charged an early departure fee. Reservations that are considered "No Shows" will result in full forfeiture of the advance deposit, which will be the equivalent of one (1) night rent, taxes and fees or the security deposit depending on the length of the reservation.
Q: When is full payment due? A: Full payment is due two weeks prior to arrival.
Q: Are there any extra fees? A: There is a $100 cleaning fee.
Q: When is check in/check out? A: Check-in time will begin after 4:00 p.m. Due to our high housekeeping standards, not all units will be available for check-in at 4:00 p.m. This is especially true during peak seasons. Check-out time is at 10:00 a.m. Late check-outs may be arranged only on the date of departure and are strictly based on availability. Late check-outs will incur additional charges.
Q: I have a very small dog that is house broken. Is it OK to bring our pet? A: Pets are not permitted in any Blue Sun Properties vacation accommodation.
Q: Is there a housekeeping charge? A: Yes, there is an additional $100.00 housekeeping charge.
Q: When is the maid service? A: There is no daily maid service.
Q: Where is the garbage chute? A: There is a trash closet/chute on every floor.
Q: Where do I park? A: You may park in the garage located Across the Street.
Q: Where is the closest grocery store? A: Publix on Middle Beach road Wal-Mart on Front beach road
Q: Internet and Long-distance phone calls? A: High Speed Internet is Free; in Common areas fees apply for Long Distance.
Q: Where are the pools and hot tubs? A: Pools are located beach side of the complex adjacent to the Lobby.
Q: Why should I make my reservation through you and not just go to Waterstone Resorts directly? A: Waterstone charges a much higher rate than we do. By reserving through the owners, we can guarantee you a much lower rate.
